Oh boy, washed my vette yesterday and decided to use the Aquawax as a drying aid. Grabbed the spray bottle , put about 4 spritzes on the hood, looked at the black bottle and… it was the Tuf shine tire cleaner! Duh, rectified that real quick, disaster averted.

Identical bottles, similar colored liquids, what could possibly go wrong…

This lives in the cart along with most everything else

This lives off on its own in the soap section where I have to make a conscious effort to grab it

Yup, thought I had quick detailer to remove some bird poop, as soon as I sprayed I realised it was wheel cleaner. The smell was completely different. No harm done, did an ONR wash on the door and reapplied the coating.

Luckily I spray interior cleaner into a towel rather than spraying directly on a dash or door panel, and yeah, the smell lets you know you goofed!

Yeah.

A few years ago I did a Camaro and was going to wipe it down with Meguiar's M34 Final Inspection, but instead grabbed M40 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner and Conditioner....

I was already behind schedule and it added even more frustration than I was already dealing with.

Can't say that's happened. I label the top of the sprayers on all mine. They were all stored in a large bin before so it helped me identify them from the top easily.

Yep. I've done that. In the opaque bottles I use for some products, Griots Wheel Cleaner and Poorboys Bug Squash look VERY similar.... Needless to say, I'm just glad the wheel cleaner is pretty gentle and didn't harm the paint.

Have not done it yet, but that could be a epic fail! Imagine spraying wheel cleaner on leather!

Stoners Tarminator on the inside front windshield instead of their Invisible Glass. The cans look too much alike.

I wiped half the windsheild with it (Drivers side of course.). It wasn't easy to remove it all.

I bet the smell inside the car was lovely too.... Tarminator puts off some pretty good fumes.

I was wondering who has done that since I grabbed the invisible glass to spray down some rubber/tar. You got the far worse mix up than I did!

Grabbed the hand sanitizer instead of the lube....
That was a sting! :wowwow:

We were at a good friends house for a party and my friend took a dump. He thought that the container on top of the toilet was a baby wipe. They were ISP wipes

Common thing at my grandmother's house was to put salt in your coffee or tea, the canisters containing the sugar and salt were identical, and unmarked, because she knew which was which, and I think she liked to watch people's faces when they got the wrong one.

Sprayed half my hood with DG 253 thinking it was AquaWax.............
