Anyone ever have this issue? I live in PA, where it rains one day and is sunny the next. I keep my 96 SS Camaro covered in the driveway and only remove the cover about once a week. This is only during the spring and summer as the car is in storage throughout the winter. After a week of off and on rain and sun, I removed the cover today to find this. The material of the cover seems to be breaking down from sun and or rain exposure. The whole car was covered in this blue powdery dust. It washes off ok, but I'm wondering if and how I can prevent it from happening. I plan to wash the cover at the laundry mat, but not sure what to use, or if the cover is junk. I will say this is the second summer I've used it outdoors, but the cover is actually about 12 years old. 10 were used strictly indoors with no issues. Ideas? Suggestions?
