Ater using Never Dull can you wax or seal it?

Awesome Gary! :props:

NevrDull is very good for cleaning up exhaust tips. Use it all the time.

Thanks Ryan. I had 2 cans and never used them before. I haven't cleaned the tips since I got it last year. They def look a lot better. :)

#0000 steel wool is awesome for exhaust

Sure, you can seal it.

Yeah I'm going pick up few more #0000 about to run out. Going seal them tomorrow. :props:

Been planning on using some NevrDull but haven't gotten around to using it. I think you just sealed the deal :) They look great!

Thanks! This was my first time cleaning the exhaust since I bought it new in September of 2010. I was always too lazy to clean them but finally did and very happy with results.

That makes a big difference.

You will want to use a sealant product specifically for wheels or exhaust tips to seal your tips. Most normal paint sealants cannot withstand high temperatures. The sealant I like to use for my wheels and exhaust is Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. Makes cleaning exhaust tips a breeze. The soot just washes right off!

Very Nice
Thanks

Thanks! I'm going pick up some delicate wheels/exhaust sealant with my next order. I been using Klasse sealant and 845 on wheels, seems to be doing it jobs. Cleaning wheels are much easier now.

Good stuff man. I usually seal my Muffler/Tip but for the rest of the exhaust I just never dull it. When I do my exhaust I actually unbolt the whole system including the header. I wet sand the header then use 1200/1500 grit with Mothers metal polish and it gets the discoloration out. Makes it look literally brand new again. I don't do this often though haha.

Gary,
Do you have Hi Temp Paste Wax 1000P?
It can withstand high temp and have very good durability, which is ideal for exhaust and wheel use
and its famous for "extra layer of clear coat" look on paint
huge tin for less than 20 u cant go wrong!

rejex works well at protecting metal and exhaust items ...

on my stainless tips i use 0000 on the outside if its needed but on the inside i use coarse as it cuts thru the carbon etc much faster and leaves a clean look. also i always use nitrite gloves on the inside to keep the gook off my hands.

Thanks! Going clean the whole system when spring comes. The header is black right now. lol

I don't have any, but I have seen some youtube video. And WOW water beads off paint so fast. I'm going see if I can trade something for it, I got too much products.

I had some trouble cleaning the inside with #0000, took couple tries to get it cleaned. I'm going pick up some coarse steel wool next time I'm at Homedepot.

I use high temp 1000P paste wax to protect my summer rim and customer's exhaust after prolish with p21s and fine steel wool.
