Hey all I'm going to start off by saying I detail only for myself and family and don't run a business...yet lol. So I'm going to be detailing a family members car next week and I have a PC already but I ordered a UDM and some SIP last night. I've been hearing lots of good things with SIP and the Rotary on orange ccs pads. I was wondering if I'd get almost neat the same result with the UDM and orange ccs pad. I have access to a Harbor Frieght Rotary that I've used once with OP on polishing pad for a section of the hood. I was wondering if using the HF with SIP on 8.5" orange would do the job. I don't see going to a Makita just yet since I'm only doing it for myself and not detailing everyday.
