So I took a look at a few products from the AG store and mostly everything was about tires. That's great an all but I'm looking for more long term protector for the rubber trim say around the window and the sunroof trim.

What's the best out there?

Hmm... does it last long? What is your reapplication interval?

The key is to get the seals super clean before applying Gummi. It varies, but about a year between applications.

I pop the applicator top off and use my index finger tucked in a Kirkland towel.
It makes application much easier than the button and foam on the bottle.

I’ll have to try that. I do wash the foam tip after using as I won’t be using it for months.

So consensus has spoken. Is there a difference the between the Nextzett and Sonax version?

Also:

It appears that if you purchase Nextzett’s version,
you get 0.02 oz. more product—for ~$1.00 less—
than if you were to purchase Sonax’s version.

Thanks Bob for the ingredients list but the Nextzett one is a little hard to understand in order to compare to Sonax....lol

Interesting thread, I may have to buy some of the gummi myself. Next order.

So I take it that the price per ounce
comparison didn’t cause at least a stir?

Basically $1 cheaper.... but not being able to make out the ingredients comparison so I'm assuming it the same so I save a buck. :) I did end up ordering some but I was just curious since a review stated that they liked the Sonax one better and I was curious to know why...

I just started using Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant and so far it has help up to many rain storms and a trip through salty roads. I just gave the trim a wipedown with a mild APC and it still holds the shine. Nextzett sounds interesting.

WETS is one of my favorite exterior plastic trim protectant. I use Gummi for soft rubber seals.

WETS and/or McKee's. I still cannot tell one bit of difference between the two.

Smell, texture, application, longevity, appearance......... I'd almost swear they are both the same product in different packaging.
