I use Poor Boys Air Freshener, but the scent doesn't seem to stick around long at all. I need someone to suggest a really durable freshener.

If you want to:

-Mask an odor then go with CarPro SO2Pure, but this leaves no scent behind
-Permanently remove the odor then go with an ozone machine
-Add a scent after detailing, I personally like the Auto Expressions brand Ultra Gel canisters. They do offer sprays if that's what you're after.

Something to remember about the Poorboy's air fresheners - they are water based, not oil based. This means no fabric staining should the product make accidental contact.

I have been looking into some chemicalguys Air fresheners (LINK TO OUTSIDE VENDOR REMOVED)
I havent got any yet but the look good.

I have special oil of champa flower (like frangipani,) I put a couple drops on an envelope and put the envelope under a mat. It lasts for months.
:>
...Although now after about three weeks it has been overridden by the Meguirs Ultimate Protectant and the new car smell.

I use Chemical Guys Stripper Scent...very nice scent..dont have to use much,,a couple sprays...good product,,have a couple details coming up when I will use Sopure, and then add a scent to interior..that is the real way to go..:props:

The DP Odor Sprays are quite nice and last a little while too.

I heard Flash fluffs in every car after he's done detailing, just to add that personal touch.

Well I just got the DP Odor Spray "Just Detailed" and wife stole it immediately as she suggests just too nice for cars.

Killer,

Any way to get a sample of that air freshener through Auto Geek?

Thanks,
Andrew

I did some reading on the CarPro product and it sounds like something you apply to your interior.

Does this affect the sheen/finish on the interior? I use Aerospace 303 on my vinyl/plastic pieces and don't want to add or take away from the look.

THEY ALL seem to not last long....I am attempting to locate a more durable air freshener, wish me luck!
