The thing about the 10x10' canopies, is it appears that if the sun isn't directly overhead, your shade area is nowhere you want it to be.

It appears even just looking at the pictures of them on sites that sell them that if you were to try and wash the car say before 11:00am or after 01:00pm, your shade would be outside the area your car would be.

Those who have them please tell us if this has been your experience.

I have a 10x10 from Costco and that exactly has been my problem with it. If I were not dealing with much more urgent matter I would be looking for 12x16 using 16' area across the car so I get extra 3' on each door side.

I have not gotten a chance to use it yet, I was thinking the same thing about the sun covereage, but the way I see it, I can at least use it at high noon for a quick was before I pull it in to the garage to dry and polish.

A little coverage is better than NO coverage...... Ill try and post pics when I get a chance.
