Hello everyone,

My garage space is not large enough to detail my car let alone my truck, so it is a driveway detail. My driveway never see's any shade, so it's a beat down on nice sunny days. I usually give each vehicle 2 complete detail's per year, spring ( which I think we missed this year ) and fall. I would like to know what everyone else suggests, and will my truck fit underneath a 10x12 or 10x15 EZ Up canopy if that's the way that I go? Any local stores have anything good? Sears, Lowes, Home depot, Sams club, Walmart??? ETC>>

Thank You,

No, they don't fit under a 10x10, but what if did was take 2" pvc piping and cut (4) 2' pieces. Then take off the the little foot piece on the leg where you stake the canopy. You run a bolt about 8" from the bottom of the 2' pvc and slide your canopy legs into them. That will give you enough room. Just make sure you weigh down the top of the canopy with jugs of wtr or sand so it doesn't blow around. I even put caps at the bottom of the pvc and casters that lock. That way when you are trying to open the canopy by yourself you can lock them and pop it up easier. Get 10x10, if that's not big enough get another one. Any bigger can be tough to put up yourself plus if you put the pvc and casters on the bottoms you can roll it around how ever you want, especially so you don't hit the door on the legs.

Good luck
Scott

As far as anything good, Sports Authority should be starting their going out of business sales today or this weekend. Might want to keep an eye out for good deals there if there is one in your area or online.

Thats what im looking into right now. Doin mobile detailing in the sun is a pain sometimes. Im talking just a quick wash, vac, windows and tire shine can turn into a project. Glass cleaner evaperating within seconds and having to touch up the windows a few times or soap starting to dry to quick. Luckily most of the buffing or full interior work i do i can be in my garage or a customers garage.....but i dont always have that luxury
