I’m confused about the 303 Fabric Guard product. These forums are full of people using 303 Fabric Guard for carpets and seat upholstery. Problem is, the bottle says not to use it on carpet. I called 303 to try and clear up the confusion and they told be that Fabric Guard should NOT be used on any automotive interior surfaces (carpet, seats, etc).
1) is this just a CYA because the chemicals should not be used indoors or is there a legitimate reason to not use Fabric Guard for automotive interior fabrics??
2) if I’m not supposed to use Fabric Guard on my interior fabrics, which product do you recommend?
