I am going to use some type of fab guard on the seats and carpet of my new truck. What is the best product to use? I have seen the 303 fabric guard, but I didnt know what else was out. I have been using Meguiars Gold Class wax on top of my sealant. What product is a step above the Gold Class and still a good bang for the buck? I was thinking about the Mirror Glaze Hi tech yellow wax, Surf City Nano Glaze, or the Mothers advanced Top Coat. I really want to bring the shine out! Suggestions of AG products that are on sale are a bonus for me!

303 should take care of protecting your seats. As far as waxes go, what color is your car and where do you live. There are many waxes that are better than Meg's Gold Class, but again, color and temp has alot to do with your selection. Alot of forum members have winterize with collinite, the choices are many.

Ive always used Scotchgard, but recently tried the 303 and one from Poorboys (dont know if it was ever actually released) and both seem equally as good. Idea is uniform coverage, and a second coat.

I have been wanting to try the Max Wax. I was blown away by the final gloss. I had been using a meguiars quick detailer. How does Max Wax compare to Natty's paste wax(red)??

Very close, can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks for the info. I am going to try the Poorboy's.

Maxwax is a good choice...especially if the paint has a lot of flake in it.
Hereis a shot Maxwax on top of the Klasse twins.

:iagree:Max wax does bring out the flakes. Nice job on that paint.

I scotchguarded my seats in my new truck, made certain that I completely covered all the fabric. I gave my dog a treat (a bite of a glazed donut) that he apparently didn't eat and layed on instead.

So now there is a smear on the passenger front seat of glazed donut. Seeing as how the seat was scotchguarded, how do I go about getting this smeared donut off the fabric now?

I wiped with a clean terry cloth from the outside towards the center to try to clean it off but there is still a smear there, what must I do to get this off?

I guess I wrongly assumed that scotchguarding actually repels all forms of debris on the seat like a complete barrier, but that doesn't appear to be the case, at least not this time.

I am sure it was embedded into the fabric. One one those vacuums that shampoo and vacuum at the same time might be worth a try. Just use a high quality automotive shampoo.

Unfortunately the seat fabric in the Honda Ridgeline is notorious for water staining. Just drop some water from a bottle in the size of a dime will end up leaving a stain on the fabric which might actually be worse than the smear of donut right now, Im hoping to find a chemical cleaner that won't leave a stain behind after cleaning the donut on the fabric. And if all else fails then it's time to pony up the $1000 and have the shop down the road put in all leather to avoid this in the future.

Anybody know of any chemical cleaners that don't leave a stain behind?
