Thanks sdguy55, sounds like a good idea!
Here are the results from my 2 hastily done $10 boost, $20 total.
There was not any real content as writing in the two post I boosted. Both had very simple titles. One was a headlight restoration with 6 pictures, and the other was a trashed interior job with 11 pictures. All were before and afters with nice bad before pics and good result after shots.
Results:
I received a few likes pretty quick, and then a call asking about headlight restoration. He had also ask if I did "polishing/waxing".
On the headlight one, the first comment was "Yea bug spray does the same thing .lol", and another said "They sell a kit at auto zone for 12$ don't they?"
I tried to give a professional responses to both.
Thrashed interior one response was basically "how much", and "nice job".
Also had reasonably intelligent conversion with the "bug spray" comment guy.

Just a few of the things I did wrong and maybe what I should have done, please feel free to add:
I did not do anything with the interest section. "Car, and my location, and a news producer were there.
In the location section while typing a town name in I selected a same named town listed in the drop down choices that did not list the state. I assumed it had picked the town closet to me as the top selection, it had not. It was not near me.
Make sure the list shows the state. If the town name does not show up on the list, it is not spelled correctly or it is not in their index.
List areas that you know you want target and do not list that won't serve your interest as well even if they are in your service area.
List interests that you believe your ideal customer would have.
