Hello,
Well I really did it this time. I added a little oxy clean to some warm water and cleaned a test spot. A few days later everything appeaered normal so I proceeded to do my whole dash. Well now I have spots on my dash that won't come off with warm water. I'm looking for a good cleaner and then a product to restore my dash. Is the klause all in one a good product to use for this? Any and all help is much appreciated.

From what I've read so far the Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaners is a good
Product to use. Now I need something to restore the color.

Well, first I'd just use plenty of warm water to take off any residue of the product that is still on there...I'm not really sure what all that white stuff is. Then if you want to use some cleaner...but what you are really going to want to use is a dressing to see if you can undo the white blotches. Klasse AIO is a paint product, I've never used it on dashboard material. If you're looking OTC, you should be able to get some interior dressings locally.

PS AFAIK Oxyclean is for fabrics, not for vinyl (IDK, I've never used it)

PPS I don't know about Baltimore, but I can't believe it's a good idea to drive around with a box of shells on the floor.

I would be buying whatever someone thinks will work from the autogeek store. The white stuff i believe is the soapy residue left over from the solution although i was unable to remove it with warm water. Good eye on the shells. I need to get them out of the truck since hunting season is over.

I had something similar happen to my interior. I had window tint removed, and residue from the removal cleaner had dripped onto some of the plastic around my hatch. I tried cleaner, water etc and nothing got it off. I then wiped it down with believe it or not, Armor All and the marks disappeared and have remained gone.

Well I'm just getting back around to dealing with this issue. I've tried soaking the discolored areas with warm water on a towel but it never helped. I'm going to purchase the Optimum Power Clean and try it at the recommended 3:1 ratio. I like the fact you can use OPC for many different purposes. Since this is a cleaner what do you recommend me use that will protect the plastic once everything is cleaned? If the cleaner does not take care of the issue I'm going to have to find a product that will restore the black color.
