Does anyone like using a microfiber fast finishing pad (griots) for polishing? And if its brand new should i prime it with product like i would a new foam pad?

I use the boss microfiber cutting pad, not sure about finishing microfiber not sure if they have one?
M105/boss mf did awesome results with almost lsp on a white truck i did.
Haven't tryd the megs finishing microfiber yet tho.

I've used the fast finishing pad with their Complete Compound. Took me a little getting used to, but I've had good results. I prime the whole surface, then just make sure to check in on it standing the nap up when changing sections.

Thanks guys. I hadn't heard much about the microfiber finishing pad. I found some pads for cheap so I figured I'd grab a couple and try them out before I ordered a few six-packs of assorted off autogeek.

That came out good. So did you use that combo as a one step process or would you still polish that after? And would you not use that pad to do final polish, mostly compounding?

The complete compound is just for correction. In this case I followed it with GG One Step Sealant (which I think counts as an AIO) using an orange polishing pad to match what was on the rest of the car.
