To make long story short I'm out of work because of a back injury. So F/T job and P/T detailing are on hold. It was one of the few pain free days I had this morning and decided to try out my Fast Glass Towels from Car-Pro.
1st impression out of the box:
They don't seem like much when you get them. Like really hard smooth surfaced dry MF towel. Think like thick newspaper. I called Car Pro since I always wash new MF they said it does not hurt and but not needed. I did anyway.
Let's clean some house windows.
Directions:
Let soak in warm water wring until damp fold into quarters and wipe glass. ( You have to really wring them. the towels tugged on the glass.)
If you get streaks the towel was either too wet or too dirty and you need a new one.
Impressions:
I have a 7 year old and 2 cats so you know what house windows can look like when you clean at best twice a year.
I took a bunch of pictures to post but considering the results I do not need to post them.
All I can say is WOW! It made glass cleaning so easy bucket of warm water and that's it. I went from FILTHY windows to mirrors with no dirt transfer. I checked with Stoners and a MF towel. The MF towel was spotless. I just wiped cross hatch pattern.
It cleaned off window crayon, tape residue, outside grime from rain, one dead bug, hair spray, toothpaste splatter. When I say crystal clear glass I mean crystal clear. Squeaky clean. If you follow the directions and get the hang of working with them. You will not be disappointed.
I have used all the tricks, cleaners, towels, newspaper, MF towels. Can they do the job, Yes. This easy NO WAY. If you get streaks rinse the cloth and wipe again.
the +'s
Easy lazy man's way to clean glass perfectly
No chemicals to spray and chase with a towel before it dries
No Chemicals
No paper towels, newspaper, or anything else
No streaks.
Pays for themselves eventually in paper towels and glass cleaner alone.
Your nuts if you don't buy them.
Now I had to stop cleaning don't want to push my back. I did 3 windows, 1 two panel sliding glass door, 3 panel bay window, 1 full panel front door both sides, two towels 2 gallons of rinse water while I was on the phone opening my claims for medical leave and STD. So probably a 1/2 hour. My windows were filthy.
BUY THEM and give away or sell your prized glass cleaners.

Sorry to hear about your back. I know how it is to have back problems and it ain't no fun! It just so happened that yesterday I received my order from CarPro and it included five of these towels. I tried one out today on the interior windows of my ML350. Like you, I was wondering what in the world I bought. They were the plainest, least soft towels I ever saw. I was almost afraid to put one on glass.

No instructions came with the towels but there were reviews and instructions on the web so I followed them. Basically, I did what you did and allowed one to soak in warm water, wrung it out real well and simply washed my windows with it. One towel cleaned all my interior windows, including the windshield. The verdict: WOW! No haze, no chemicals, no cleaning supplies, no drying towels - nothing but water and these pieces of what look like scrap paper to make a window shine. I agree with you 100% - buy them!!

Nice review. I recently got these and love them! I don't know how I ever cleaned glass without them.

Now what to do with my gallon of meguiars glass cleaner concentrate..

Talk about a product that does what it advertises. Nothing more, nothing less. It just works. You do have to make sure it is both clean and almost dry. It works well on windows that are basically clean. I haven't tried it on anything really nasty yet.

Just a tip: Warm water is only required on the first use, but no harm in doing it everytime.

I still have a couple of them I bought 5 years ago then called the Corsa Towel, worked then and seem to still work now.

Oh when I said they worked on filth. They were filthy. Looking forward to another good back day.
I just got them out of the washer and they are stained most of the dirt came out in the wash. I'm looking to see how they do on round two after they got broken in.
