What are your favorite all in one/APC for cleaning door jambs, wheel wells, tires, engine, gas tank area, trims, front bumper with lots of bug, tar etc etc?

can't go wrong with either the megs apc or apc plus...

Those would certainly be my choices and I have tried a lot of them.
Works great and priced right.
Mixed at 10 parts water to 1 part product, it does almost all of my cleaning. Carpet, upholstery, vinyl, anything that can have a liquid used on it.
I do have some mixed at 4 parts water to 1 part product for really nasty jobs, but I rarely need to use it.

One thing that works for me.
Let the product set or dwell on what you are cleaning for a few minutes.
If you give the product a little time to work, it seems to work much better. If you just spray it on and wipe it off, it doesn't have much time for the chemicals to do their job.

Probably my most often used product.

I've just started using Meg's APC and I'm happy with the results. Strong enough to take off the grime but doesn't damage plastic parts I've tried so far.

Meg's APC+. My favorite product all around.

DLB

APC+ for like almost everything.

P21S TAW for engines, door jambs, and other random exterior clean-ups.

Does anyone here like Meguiar's APC or APC+?

Talk about popular.
Meguiar's will probably raise the price now. :D

Anyone tried the Poorboy’s World Bio-Degradable All Purpose Cleaner and Degreaser? What do you think about it? Thanks!

I have used it on tires, wheels, interior, etc. It is good stuff. Very comparable to Megs APC, but if I recall correctly the Megs is cheaper per ounce. However, you can buy the Poorboys APC in quantities less than a gallon..

The Megs APC also smells better to me.

Hi, the reason I am pulling the trigger towards the poorboys APC is because it comes in a smaller bottle than Meguiars APC and shipping to my country is really expensive...based on everyone´s comments about Meguiars APC I definetely love to try it but it should come in a smaller size bottle...let´s say 32 oz ones....every other brand comes with 32oz bottles..I don´t know why Meguiars doesn´t carry those sizes.....So, resuming I am the only one in this thread not recommending the Meguiars APC, ja!!!Im the MAN

I'm curious. What's the shipping for a quart of product? How often do you order that quart? What's the shipping for a gallon?

Charles: Just started detailing my own cars this year and got hooked. I'm pretty much devoted to Meg's products since they have seemed to fill all my reguirements related to a new car with little to no swirls. However, I am amazed by the number of products I have acquired in a short period of time. From your post and others, I gather that with Megs APC, I might be able to pare the number of products down somewhat and make this more simpler. Thoughts/Agree? Thanks.

Keep in mind that I'm a hobby detailer and don't get involved with really nasty vehicles.
Meguiar's APC does a lot of things for me, but it might not do the same job for others.

Some of the places I can and do use it, at least occasionally would be:

Carpet and carpeted mats - Spray on, agitate with a brush, towel off every wash. We have 2 vehicles with rubber mats and I also use it on them.
Tires, wheels & wheel wells - Rarely on the tires & wheels, since they don't usually need it.
Engine Compartment - I usually just wipe the engine compartment down after washing the rest of the vehicle, but about twice a year, I spray some 4:1 APC on everything, agitate wherever I can reach with a rag or brush and rinse/dry. The APC helps with the areas I can't reach. Keeping the engine compartment clean is a lot easier than just cleaning it when it looks bad.
Vinyl - I also use it to wipe down the vinyl prior to applying a vinyl dressing.
Leather - It probably would be fine for wiping off the leather, but I happen to use a dedicated leather cleaner. I used Woolite & water for years with no problem, but leather cleaners are pretty cheap and it doesn't cost much to use one.
Most of my cleaning is done with a 10:1 dilution except for the engine compartment and the occasional tough spots.

If those uses work for you, you might eliminate a product or two, but the APC doesn't do quite everything. :)
