Ok all my fellow autogeeks..Who would like to chime in and give their favorite muscle cars from the past. Although I pretty much love all the muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. I have to say my true devotion and passion goes to the "68 Shelby Mustang GT.
I once owned a '66, but maybe one dayl, I'll have a 68 sitting in my garage !

Any of the older Mustangs will get my head to turn. Nothing made me happier than when my baby girl picked a 2009 Grabber Orange Mustang GT Convertible as her vehicle to take off to college! Im the MAN

Oh yeaaaaa...the Chevelle's were sweet..My dad had one

1970 Chevelle SS 396, bright red with black buckets, Hurst 4 speed babied and tuned, til i rolled it through a cornfield and totaled it

69 Olds 442! By far my favorite, but I do like the majority of the 60's 442's. I had an 86 442 which I loved, but no where near the greatness of a real classic muscle car.

There are just so many great classic muscle cars I would really settle for any of the late 60's models.

70 Plymouth roadrunner, 4speed, pistol grip Hurst shifter, air grabber hood. But I am biased:dblthumb2:

1972 Gran Torino Fastback
1971 Mustang Mach 1 with the 429 Cobra Jet Engine
1966 Shelby GT350
1967 Shelby GT500
1970 Chevelle Blacked Out SS Coupe
1970 Hemi Cuda
1967 Pontiac GTO

G'day Men: This is a fantastic topic, I might add!! Although I owned a 1969 Chevelle 396/375 HP L78 brand new in 1969 it is not my favorite muscle car now. I could pick out a few, such as same 396/375 HP combination in a 1969 Chev Nova or same combo in a 1969 or 1970 Camero. However, my favorite would have to be a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 with the W30 option on it. I would like to buy one today. But are big bucks, even if you can find one.
