Im in need of some new pads. I have a fair amount of older CCS pads. I am not especially fond of them, but they have served me pretty well. I've also got some CG hex logic pads, which I like quite a bit. Lastly, I have a few HT pads that I just got and have not used. I'm using a GG6 and work mostly on my hard VW paint, which is white.

Any pad suggestions? I am looking for any suggestions.

Thanks.

I REALLY like the HT pads compared to my flat pads when comparing cutting ability and finish. I do feel like the pads don't/wont last as long though.

I'm looking forward to getting some MF pads and trying them out.

HT pads HANDS down. Like, it's absolutely ridiculous how well these things finish. The cyan finishes so well to the point where you'll only see hazing rather than micro marring (personal experience using UC; haven't found the need to use anything more aggressive or anything more complicated to use; i'll stick to my SMAT :) )
I only detail as a hobby but I have a ton of these because they do the job so well.

But as others have noted, durability is not the greatest. But whatever, they save a ton of time for correction.

My favorite pad is the orange ccs pad. I use the 7.5 in curved edge on the rotary and 5.5 on the da. Great all around pad and they are affordable.

Yet people still swear by flat pads. Go figure.

They're cheaper, seem to last longer, and have been around for a while, so a lot of people have used them and know they work. That said, I like the HT pads as well.

I just ordered a bunch of the Hydro tech and flat pads since I wanted to try something new besides my CCS pads. Havent had a chance to try em all out though.

I prefer using the Lake Country Flat Pads on my Porter Cable 7424XP. The Optimum MF pads work great too!
