I guess this stuff is old news, but what's the consensus on this product? I searched a bit and Klasse Act was using it a few years ago, and The Guz did a video about it 4 years ago.

I see it's got black dye, and that you need to clean it off quickly with panel prep if you get any on the wheel. I don't know what happens if you don't get it off quickly--the old Turtle Wax (acrylic) Endura Shine was impossible to get off once it cured, that's why I only used it on the backs of the tires.

EDIT: Oops, maybe they don't make this stuff anymore. Since all the cool kids are using the Feynlab Hybrid Ceramic Detailer, I was looking at the Feynlab site and saw the Black Velvet, but it's out of stock and I don't see anyone else selling it.

Seems to me that Feynlab is heavily invested in their ceramic coatings. Most of their products could be used in support of a coating. With the exception of their interior cleaner.
Ive heard rumblings of Feynlab working on a sealer. So we will see but im hopeing they do develop a sealer.
A tire dressing really dosent fit in their lineup. Probably didnt sell well so they dropped it.
 
It seems this product is available now, anyone try it?

My thoughts (about trying it) are it's reasonably priced vs. something like CarPro Blackout 2.0 or the current iteration of the McKee's tire coating, but still more expensive than Optimum TPC, ADS Ghost, or Tuf Shine, or even the new Dr. Beasley's coating. Of course, it's still black.
 
I used it a few years ago and I am not a fan of it. It always looked splotchy and did not apply evenly. I did mention this to Feynlab and apparently they never heard of this before. I even asked if they changed the formula and they said no.

BlackOut 2.0 on the other hand has been great in the 3-4 months it has been on the tires. Worth money based on my experience. Works great on rubber trim as well.
 
Chelsea ( Attention 2 Details ) i believe did a recent video where she used the Feynlab tire sealant. I didnt watch it though.

"includes paid promotion" i think that's all you need to know

I watched until I saw that disclaimer. A video that a manufacturer is paying for will not be overly critical of that product. Doesn't mean it isn't a good product.
 
As I said I hadn't watched the video. So I asked her what "includes paid promotion" means. She said if someone uses the affiliated link she gets a commission. So I agree if there is any compensation involved then anything said can be skewed by that arraigment. I consider Chelsea to be one of the straight shooters and had never seen that message on one of her videos.
