I have a 5 year old fiberglass (w/gel coat) swimming pool. Above the water line, instead of being the original "sand" color, it's kind of dingy and yellowish - like a gritty bathtub ring. Can you recommend a marine cleaner & wax that won't break down in chlorine (or poison my kids!) that I can use. Some application tips would be much appreciated as well - I've got a PC but would want to get new pads.

Collinite 920 fiberglass cleaner works great on gel coat. I use it on boats and follow with Collinite 885. Very easy to use with a green LCC pad and the PC. Not sure how it stands up against chlorine. Be sure to read the label or call Collinite for health concerns.

You may also want to check with a pool supply store to see if the carry a safe and effective product.

I would be surprised to see anything stand up to constant chlorine immersion
