Fifth gear test Buggati Veyron on track.

Look at the lights they check the paint with about 4 min in to part 1! Would love to detail under something like that :D

yeah those lights are nice.. That's the lighting set up that is used at OEM manufacturing assembly plants. Just before the cars roll off the line they pass though a tunnel of lights exactly as shown in this vid.

Darn, can't see the video's becuase I'm currently at work....I'll check the video out when I get home though. When it comes to lighting I can't seem to get enough of it :D :D :D

the only thing that impresed me was the engine of those cars. I always thought they were quite ugly looking bubbles.

I rather have something like an enzo or saleen s7 and still have the extra cash in my pocket

Lately an Enzo is going for the price of a Veyron. You can get about 2.5 Saleen S7's for the same price.

I agree with prirex. It's a great looking car. The new Audi R8 looks a lot like it for a whole lot less.
 
Veyron ugly, no way. I find it a very good looking vehicle and I agree with Gary the R8 are looking mighty good....hard to compare the R8 the the Veyron but gets you some what close to the Veyron at least.

Gary any thoughts on purchasing an R8? Price wise it's not that bad and performance well that I'm not exactly to sure.

Wher's Sufer, he's always got specs for vehicles.

Nica, I'm going to sell my house and buy a Veyron then sell my Gallardo and buy a small little house. ;)

Pirex (Mr. Audi) is right. The R8 currently has a 420 HP V8 but I have read they are going to a V10 in it like the S8 currently has. I believe VW actually owns Bugatti also.
 
Thats right Gary. They are talking about to put in the V10, like S8 and also gallardo have, but with 5.2L and 450 BHP. Gallardo have 5.0L and 500 BHP! And yes, VW AG, ownes buggati, lambo, audi etc.

etc like Rolls Royce and Bentley. I checked out an S8 a couple of weeks ago and even though the block is the same as on my Gallardo the rest of the engine does not look anything like the Gallardo's.

Yeah, but they are about the same thing! Oh, and VW doesen`t own rolls Royce, Bmw owns them. But they own bentley yes. Plus seat and skoda.

Regarding Rolls Royce and Bentley for some reason I was thinking VW owned on Audi owned the other one.

What the heck is seat and skoda? :confused:

I really think that the car was built with function over style, I have read about some of the technical issues they had to overcome to get a car to hit 400KPH as well as the top of the engine melting so they had to ditch the engine cover to give them more cooling.

I still prefer the McLaren F1 but as a technological masterpice there is nothing that comes close to the Veryon.

But the Pogani Zonda looks better from the outside.
