Hey y'all [this is a deep south forum afterall

I figured id introduce myself. Ive been lurking the forum for the last 2 years and never wanted to delve into it because as with all other forums i get waaaayyy too involved.. [must be that OCD thing us detailers run with]
Anyway, once i started posting I cant stop so i figured id give a little intoduction.
Before that, i just wanted to say i jumped in because the community here is very laid back and generous with the info offerings. Being on many foums i noticed the number of trolls here is ALMOST non existant.. which is sweet! So im happy i did. The feedback and comments have been great so far.
I live in Southern Cal. Been detailing since i was a kid. First business my brother and i ever did after watchin my dad slave over his first 1987 BMW 325i.
But i began doing it professionally in 2002. And although i havent done it straight since that time ive ALWAYS kept current on products and techniques and avidl tested them on my car and my girlfriend's [ahahahahahahhaha] to keep my craft sharp.
Im here mainly to research and geek out [which woudld coincidentally be what i would call it anyway] with laid back like-minded car enthusiasts and professionals. I have many similar experience on other forums... i used to play a LOT of poker [and still keep up] PLEASE dont talk to me about the main event.. im purposely not watching because i like to watch it all at once and pause and read the hands!! Also on many bartending and craft cocktail forums as well as sports handicapping and fantasy football forums.... So i have found that auto geek is the place for me....
So im down to chat about whatever and am making a 2013-2014 fantasyfootball thread.. will be good to talk to clients about. So if you want to discuss any of thiose topics im down and happy to. I have TOO many professional type hobbies, but i love em all... and no i cant pick a favorite.. although this one seems to always be near that coveted top spot
