Happy New Years everyone! I hope everybody had a nice holiday and got to enjoy some down time! For me December 29-31 were 3 very busy days. I am not going to go into a huge write up but I did want to share the last 3 vehicles I had the pleasure of working on for 2017.

First up was a repeat client who just purchased a 2015 Lexus IS 250 AWD loaded in a nice pearl white paint. This got a heavy one step and IGL poly 1 year coating along with a full interior detailing. For the correction I used a green Rupes pad on a G21 and Carpro ClearCut compound.

Next up was a marathon of work over the next 2 days on location at a clients warehouse. I normally don't travel but his new F350 Platinum wouldn't fit in my shop and he was willing to pay for my travel 1.5hrs each way on top of the cost of the work so off I went! The F350 is very well maintained and is only a few months old so besides the normal wash and decon all that was needed before coating was a nice one step with M205, Rupes Yellow pad and my G21. This truck was coated in IGL Kenzo 4yr coating.

Finally was his wifes Audi A4 that had not been polished since new in 2009 and has lived its life through auto washes. It was horrible. He didn't expect perfection and perfection wasn't going to happen lol. Rids and dents and dings were all over. But a heavy 2 step followed up with Fusso Coat got the gloss back and protected. I mainly used Carpro Clear cut with Rupes Green/Blue, followed by HD Speed.

I've never seen white look so great as that 4th picture. the paint on that lexus is awesome ! my wife just bought a new white subaru forester with a little pearl in it. I don't think I'll ever get that paint to pop like that lexus. excellent job man.

Those all look awesome. Very nice work!

On the Audi you said you used HD Speed after Clear cut. I love Speed, what made you choose an AIO vs a dedicated polish? Better finish with Speed vs other finishing polishes?

Thanks bud. As for using speed, as it's name implies its fast. It finishes great and wipes off easier than just about anything else. If I am not coating a vehicle then using speed as a finishing polish is something I really like doing. Just a preference.

Great work Justin!!! Hope you were able to enjoy some down time today.

I love the ease of use of Speed. It is a great product. It would be interesting to see how much gloss Speed adds vs a finishing polish. I swear cars look better when using Speed. The LSP’s I’ve used over Speed seem to always do well too. I’ll probably be using Speed in the spring on my van and topping with Fusso. I noticed I missed wiping some Fusso off this fall (was in a huge hurry). Guess the Sienna has extra protection this winter:)

Thanks Scott. I absolutely did enjoy some down time today with my family and a few friends. TBH I needed it. This past weekend beat me up lol.

I agree with everything! It's just a good working product!

Beautiful work Justin !!! It looks like you finished off 2017 with a bang. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2018.

What do you do with the G21 when you hit one of those curved panels? I find my G15 to be useless on my curved panels I always switch to my flex. Even if you lift the pad up off the curve enough to make it spin its not hitting much paint.

I do also use my 3in Adams swirl killer mini 12mm throw with Rupes 4in pads. Works wonders on the more curved stuff like the Lexus panels and the Audi.

Those F250 and f350s can hit 100k in platnium trim and are huge. Nice work
