Hi All,
It's been quite a while since my last post but I'm back and looking for a little guidance with Sonax NP 03-06.
I'm using Sonax NP 03-06 as a final step before ceramic coating, but finding it's taking a very long time to break down the polish for all swirling to disappear. By this, I mean polish induced swirling before the abrasives break down for a finer finish. I can get it to finish with no swirls eventually but it is taking far too long compared to the time indicated by the instructions on the bottle.
I'm using a Rotary with a soft finishing pad. My gut tells me I'm using too much polish and it's taking too long to break down the diminishing abrasives, as I was trying to avoid running the pad too dry.
I can finish clean with M205 in no time, but I'm looking for a little more POP on the black paint before I lock it in with a ceramic coating.
Alternatively, would CarPro Reflect be a better choice for jeweling or will this Sonax produce the same results with correct technique?
