Hey geeks , i wanna share my first paid job with this great comunity

CAr in question a Smart Cabrio, wich i thought was goona be easy ,,, silly me.

The whole thing its made in soft plastic , so when u give the panesl some pressure to correct... they give in and bend like crazy. Result = less friction and pad contact

Tools used

Griots 6 and 3

Pads

MF Cutting
MF polishing
CSS Orange , white
Hydrotech on the 3"

Steps

Decontamination with claybar
Compounding with m105 and m300
Polishing with Fixer / m301
Sealed with Wolfgang Deep gloss 3.0

Some before and after shots

Art

Thx art! maybe this attention to details could be use to form a bank robber's crew

Thx guys really apreciated

You asked for criticism, so I will be the first. Are those "after" shots after just compounding? Or after compounding and polishing. I ask because there is a lot of haze going on.

I hope the photos showing your pads laying around on the garage floor were taken after completion of the job.

Nice work on that little car. You showed those swirls who was boss.

Thx smack!

Great job!

Thx vet!

Sorry i dont remember for each photo if it was before or after, what i can tell u is that the haze on the lights are from my crappy cell camera , wich if u look on the before shots are still there.

No hazing where left behind :)

I hope the photos showing your pads laying around on the garage floor were taken after completion of the job.

Sadly no , had a very little space to work on , but those where pads i was not using anymore. I knew when looking at the photos some will freak out by seeing pads on the floor

:goodjob2:

:cool pics:

:hotrod2:

Thx vegas :righton:

Thx man!

The headlights are almost as big as the car! LOLOL I bet they will kill that battery in 3 min with the motor off. Nice job on the car!

Hmm, soft panels that bend on these cars, good to note and thanks for sharing that. I assume because of this, the correction took longer than expected, due to less pressure being apply while compounding?

Great work, car looks very nice!
