First full detail with new GG DA

I finally put the new GG DA to the Harley today. My Bike is black and was full of light swirls and marring from improper washing and poor techniques in the past.
The condition of the paint has been bothering me since last Fall.

I started with a Duragloss wash.
Then I used my high tech motorcycle dryer (Craftsman leaf blower :xyxthumbs.
Next I used Meguiar's clay kit to clay all the painted pieces on the Bike.
Then Meguiar's Ultimate Compound with a LC orange CCS pad on the GG.
Then onto Meguiar's Ultimate Polish with a LC gray CCS pad.
Then I finished with Meguiar's Ultimate wax by hand.

I used the GG with a 3.5" backing plate and 4" pads.
A lot of Meguiar's but only because they are products that are easy to get locally. I tried to get the Duragloss Clear Coat Polish but everyone locally was sold out of it.

I would say that my first real test with the GG was a SUCCESS!! All swirls and marring are gone. Here are a couple "after" shots (my before shots just didn't show the paint problems very well at all. I think because it was cloudy this AM when i took them).

Meg's makes great products. Your Ultra looks great. I had the same ride, put a Mustang seat on it and it will feel like a different bike. Corbin's are nice too but twice the price.
