Just received my order of CarPro Fog Fight so I thought I would give it the bathroom mirror test.

But first a word about packaging. The product comes with a couple small mf suede cloths and a larger mf suede plus a foam applicator in a small resealable plastic pouch.

The instructions are printed in black on a dark blue background. Very hard to read. If you refer to the AG product description the picture the background is much lighter than the actual bottle. Maybe just quicky printing of my label. Also by comparison with the application video the instructions are woefully incomplete. Here are the instructions for application on the bottle. "Shake well. Spray on surface & wipe off with mf". Judge for yourself. It also says not to touch the surface.

Another packaging issue (at least for me) was that it took me about 3 minutes to figure out how to get the sprayer to work. There is a little tab that needs to be rotated 180 degrees to unlock the spray mechanism.

Alright, now the mirror test. I applied the product as instructed by the video. This stuff really passed the 20 minute shower mirror test with flying colors. No trace of fog and the clarity was excellent. Much, much superior to similar products from Clear Science. I will be interested to see the durability.

Doug,

Mine arrived yesterday and I'm anxious to try it out. The video showing it applied to the inside of the windshield sold me on trying it out especially for the price.

I'll do the bathroom mirror test today and then my car and truck! :props:

Thanks for the report! :props:

Man, I needed this stuff the other day! When my wife rides with me, she always fogs up the car with her constant bickering and trying to tell me how to drive :argue:

Thanks for the review Doug :props:

I'm not sure if anything a=can clear the "fog of war" from bickering and back seat driving

Wow! Now that's hilarious!!

I just tried it on my bathroom mirror and the Fog Fight just left one giant smear on the glass.... :dunno:

Any idea what I did wrong?

Sounds like good stuff. I ordered several Carpro products, including this, during the sale but AG called and said one item was on back order. I sure hope it ships soon, it's been over a week. For some reason my car fogs up easily.

The sprayer looks to be the same one that's on some of the DoDo products, such as the detail spray. It's different for sure, it took me a minute to figure out how to turn it on too. But it seems to be a good sprayer and will deliver a fine mist.

Merry Christmas

If you followed the video, it is hard to imagine. I did not even clean my mirror since it is claimed that it is not necessary. Although you might try cleaning.

Forgot to make a note so mine is sitting at UPS waiting to be delivered Tuesday. Oh well...

Jon,

It's sounds like you still may have too much product on the glass.

I watched the video and it shows them going over the glass several times after the application with a fresh Microfiber towel ensuring that any overage was wiped cleanly away.

It also says not to apply too much but this video shows the product being applied pretty generously if you ask me.

Fog Fight

Got my two bottles yesterday and going to apply today. The way i read it, if you clean your windows you are removing the protection and will have to re-apply?
It is rated for roughly six months of protection but some windows you have to clean monthly if not weekly.
I love to steam windows to clean them and my first first thought is no more since Fog Fight will not let it "steam".

Avi - Is it OK to use Fog Fight on the lens (inside and out) of sunglasses??

Durability will be round 1 month if not touched

you could be
1. spray too much
2. didnt wipe off well enough,
3. mirror was too dirty.
can use thicker mf for wipe off for easier and haze free

Avi, i quickly tested it in the bathroom, and it seemed like it worked just as advertised! Thank you once again! You guys are really coming out with some amazing products. I can't wait to get it on my car! Thanks again!

P.S. 400th post!

Cool writeup Doug! Sounds like another excellent product!! I can't wait to use it!

Excellent post Flash! Sounds like you have a great idea for a new CarPro product, we can call it "Fixer"! Wait.... Thats already taken... Hmmm, how about "Shusher!". Oh yes!! That would sell. My wifey gives me the same grief :)

when you say untouched, that means i can't clean the window? Thats kind of a bummer...does the inside of the windshield seems to stay cleaner at least?
