Hey everyone!
A few weeks ago I bought a 135i that has had one fender repainted. Before sending it in to get a proper respray I thought I would try my hand at wet sanding the panel.
I have done several details and primarily work with a 7424 and the M105/205 combo (orange/white lake country pads). I assume this would be able to correct after I do the wetsand.
Here is the factory paint. (Yes I know the orange peel is crazy on factory BMWs).

And here is the paint I will be wetsanding. Do you think that a hand 1500/2000/3000 grit will eliminate the poor quality paint job.?
