Ok, after all the help I have gotten, suggestions as well as read on the AGO Forum, I was finally able to do my first attempt at detailing my own car. This is a daily driver, 1996 Avalon, with over 218K miles, it still runs, drives and looks great for its. age.
I did a (2) bucket wash, clayed the entire car, dryed then polished with a new HF DA and Meguire's Ultimate Compound then waxed with Meguire's Carnauba wax, I was running out of time.
Like I said this is a daily driver and will be dirty tomorrow, supposed to rain. I was not going for a full pait restore at this point, I still need to get many more supplies, but wanted to post and get your comments. Any suggestions for next job? I learned a lot on this one.Feed back please

Glad you got it sorted out. Having a good durable sealant is a must for a DD... Plenty of them can be found on Autogeek.

Thanks for the advise, I will need to add one to my next order. Been working trying to stock up some supplies, but money has been tight. Appreciate the feedback. :props:

that's a very good first try. congrats

agree with smack, a good sealant or a long lasting wax,

i've got the collinite but not tried though.

Just tossed a BFWD on my DD yesterday. Going to put another layer on today cause it rained in the morning. The weather is not on my side this week.
