Fish Eyes

So I just repainted my car and I've got a couple fish eyes. Nothing terrible, maybe 4 or 5 over the hole car. I've researched the heck out of it but wanted to get some more personal responses. Whats the best way to fix these? My thought so far is to lightly sand in the fish eye, then with a q-tip or toothpick try to dab some clear in there. Then once its dry, sand and buff it. Any thoughts?

Getting rid if fish eyes takes a lot of talent and finesse - shaving with a razor and sanding. Adding clear is really something that can only be done in the "drying" phase. You could simply add a dab, let it cure and work it down. If you don't feel comfortable with sanding, I would get it redone - which they technically should do/have already fixed

Fish eyes are caused by silicon contamination, so you probably need to strip and repaint.

Hmm my odds aren't looking to good. Well I guess I'll take some pics...for better or worse.

Figured I'd do an update to this thread and show how my attempt at fixing these went. It actually turned out not too bad. You can still see them from most angles but they are subtle enough now that I don't think most people will even notice them.

First I started by scuffing up the inside of the eye as best I could. Then with a fine tipped paint brush (Yeah I had to buy the wifey a new one when I was done) I dabbed a little bit of clear in. Let them cure. Then sanded them down flat with some 3000 grit paper. I kept waiting for the blob to pop out or something but they stayed in there. You can still see the dust or contamination point in the middle that originally caused the fish eye but all in all its way better.

This is after buffing, polishing and waxing. They are still there but were very hard to capture in a picture. I could really only make it visible when I got it on the edge of the sheet rock line to show some distortion.

This pic is a little closer. You can really only see the dust spec in the middle of it (which kind of blends in with all the other dust on the car lol) Other than that not too shabby.
