Flat Black?

I have a friend that just got a new Harley Davidson Sporster. The paint is flat black. Is there a certian wash, or special care that needs to be taken with this kind of paint. What kind of product could you use to protect the paint?

Treat it like regular paint. It's more than likely that it has a low gloss clear coat over the black base coat.

I just sold my Harley that had the denim paint (flat black) and per the HD owners manual, you are suppose to use Dawn for the soap when washing. There is no clear coat on the denim paint on the HD. Just read the owners manual, it explains everything inside.
