Flat vs CCS

To those of you who have used both LC Flat and the newer CCS technology pads, which one's do you like better. Has anyone found any downside to the CCS "cells" LC puts in their 5.5" pads now??

I went from Flat to Edge to CCS and back to Flat. I'm not a pro just a hobbiest but I just prefer flat pads due to full contact. Didn't notice any performance diff from any of them, but I'm no pro so take it for what it's worth.

Flat vs CCS vs CCG

I read on another Thread that the little Pockets fill up with Compound and that the user preferred the plain ol LC Foam Pads. Granted, that`s what they are supposed to do, but this user didn`t like it.

Some of the Buffer Combo`s come with the CCS pads... and recently through my research, I have taken a shine to the CCG (Cross Groove) Pads.

Any idea if I could substitute the CCG`s for the CCS`s that come with the new Groit 6 inch Buffer Kit.

I actually wish that there were drop down Boxes for all the Pads out there and the Site`s Software would figure out the Price Deal automatically for whatever you chose... but that might be too much.

Somebody has already decided that these CCS Foam Pads are the best ones to include with this Kit...

The tone of this reply wasn`t intended as a cheap shot against the People who decide on the kits contents... it`s just that if the CCG`s are any good, why can`t I get them instead of the CCS Foam Pads at some sort of discount too

Is the black foam in a LC CCS pad the same as the LC flat pad? For some reason, it seems stiffer (just by feel, have not used it yet).

All the foam is the same color wise between the flat and CCS.
