I am constantly testing and trying new products. I currently have the makita 9227c, Cyclo , PC 7424 , Meguiars dual action and now today my new Flex dual action polisher arrived as well as some other goodies. I also purchased a few other products and small tools to try. I am pretty excited to try the 303 aerospace protectant , optimum opti tire gel, S100 engine brightener , raggtopp kitt and Leatherique kit. Not to mention the DoDo washes and Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical Protection. Wish me luck guys ! :buffing:

Definitely get the 4" backing plates and pads for your new Flex 3401 when they become available...

Also, over the weekend I buffed out my truck using XMT360, (a one-step cleaner/wax), and used the following pads to see how they worked with a one-step product and I thought they all worked great.

Good correction and pretty much indestructible
Foamed Wool 6.5 x 1 Thick Polishing / Buffing Pad

Easy to buff with when using a one-step cleaner/wax
Meguiars DMF6 DA Microfiber Finishing Discs, 6 Inches

Easy to buff with when using a one-step cleaner/wax
Optimum Microfiber Polishing Pad 6.25 inches

I used a white foam polishing pad from this line of pads and it actually worked pretty good.
CCS 7.5 inch Smart Pads™ Curved Edge Foam Pads by Lake Country

I used both the aggressive yellow cutting and the white foam polishing pad from this line of pads and both worked very well.
