Flex stop working

I have the Flex 3401 and had it this one about 5 years just replaced cord in November. I was polishing a customers car when letting go of the trigger it was slowly still rotating unplugged it and plugged it back in and would not work wondering if anybody had the same problem. brushes look fine wondering if it could be the trigger it self. I have had this issue on the 3401. Luckily I also own a 3403 and the triggers are the same so I swapped them and solved my issue. 320.374
