as far as color sanding and buffing anybody here using such a tool for the first cut(compounding)?

I use it for compounding sometimes. I also have the pe-150 which is my absolute favorite machine! I haven't /won't use it for sanding (3401). It's a great machine but there is a learning curve with it. some hate it,others love it. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground to it lol. Do you own a 3401 or thinking of buying 1?

I am interested in the forced rotation da's for paint finish correction(sand & buff) and just tested out the flex it did ok but felt like I was not in control of machine! I am too interested in the dynabrade attachment for use with my rotary this may be the ticket for me... who knows?
