I'm patiently waiting the arrival this week of my FLEX LK603VVB rotary and 6" flexable BP (using 7.5" pads) from AG.Is this unit to fast (RPM wise) to apply any LSP with,on the minimal 1 setting (1000-1200rpm) with a blue, red,or black pad?
Or would using my XC3401VRG (160-480rpm) be a better choice?

The reason i'm asking is, I already have 7.5" pads:
(2)yellow
(2)orange
(1)white
(1)black
I was going to order:7.5" blue, red finishing (LSP) pads but if the 1 setting on the rotary (LK603VVB) was too fast,i'll have to use the XC3401VRG.

Thanks,
Chris

A rotary is a great tool to have, but should only really be used for correction. I use my rotary with wool, yellow, orange, white, and black pads to get the paint looking as nice as possible more quickly than a DA. The DA is used to refine the paint to perfection using lighter cuts and for applying an lsp.

Thank You for the reply.
