I realize this question is probably placed better elsewhere, but you all have helped me so much in the past that I wanted to try and get help from you.

I need to get some new carpeted floor mats for a 2002 Honda Accord (daughter is turning 16 in 8 days and she is taking over my old car) and am wondering if you can recommend a place to purchase them or a brand to purchase?

I don't want to spend very much money but I want something a little better than $30 Wal-mart mats.

Lloyds mats are great. They fit like factory and are well made. I think AG is a distributer for them also.

autoanything carries Lloyd's, Covercraft, Husky, and other brands of floor mats for 2002 Honda Accords.

I like Husky mats for the winter months.

WEATHERTECH! i always went with husky liners till i found out about these. they also make a mat if your looking for just something better than factory.

Although this is not about the carpeted portion of your question, I just found an excellent price for some mats on Autoanything and, they have a special for FREE shipping. Called AG who not only met the price saving me $20+/- dollars on the cost of the mats, but sent them with FREE shipping! Check it out and Thanks AG!

They're not carpeted but WeatherTech's are THE way to go, period! I've got em' in my CR-Z and the fit is flawless!

Weathertech is the only way to go...especially with a teenager and their friends....I wish they made something that wrapped the whole interior ;)

A set of 4 are just over $100 and are custom made to fit

+1 for Weathertech...

and my condolences on your daughter getting her license. Now you get to worry about her even more than you have for the last 16 years.

I got the Intro Tech Hex Mats from Auto Anything. The are like the Weather Techs, but less money. I think all 4 were about $70.00.

If you think you would ever consider something other than carpeted, I would also strongly recommend WeatherTech. I've had them in several of my SUV's and PU's, and they're excellent!

i love detailing vehicles that have Weathertech floor mats!

I would go with weather techs, best investment for your money. I would also apply your knowledge of car care skills to your daughter. Teach her how to wash, wax, dry and wheel clean =)

Know of any Promo Codes for AA?

Thanks for everyone's input. If they were for me I would probably not get carpeted, but my 16 year old daughter would prefer carpet.

I have Husky Liners in my personal vehicle and they are great. I personally think that carpeted mats are a waste of time, you will find out that a rubber floor mat will protect your vehicles carpet much better, and they are MUCH easier to clean.

Try Welcome15. However for some reason I think weathertec are on their excluded list for promos.
