foam cannon "quick disconnect" How to?

Dave...I just picked up the home depot G Foam Blaster and was in there looking at the quick disconnects for a good minute. I bought a set but ended up taking it back because I didn't need it. I didn't realize that I had the quick disconnect on the end of my wand. What I initially did was take apart the wand from the trigger handle and took a picture of the end. In the pressure washer section of Home Depot they have several baskets with several quick disconnect adapters. Shoot if push comes to shove just bring the trigger handle and foam cannon with you.

As far as soap goes, I'm about to pick up the Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam:

Chemical Guys HoneyDew Snow Foam 16 oz.

I've heard Meg's Gold Class Shampoo works really well and you can get that otc. I've read ALOT of good reviews on the DP Extreme Foam Formula. I just can't do the price of it right now.

What alko said above. I bought the same one from home depot and had to buy the disconnect fittings there. I can post a picture of my set up if you would like?

i just bought a greenworks pressure washer that had a quick disconnect already on it.also using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss - i fill the bottle with 3oz of that, and the rest with warm water...shake it up really well, it puts out alot of foam.

Did you get a chance to read the how to on selecting the correct adapter for the Pressure washer foam cannon ?

How To Select a Fitting for the Foam Cannon HP

If your pressure washer does not use one of these, it is most likely the one that looks like a 3/8" air hose line disconnect.

These are the fittings that AG carries :

I have an old Kracher K-Series, and Dad's is the kracher HD/HDs type.

If you have the HD pressure washer, the fitting in the post above is most likely what you need. They have it next to the different spray nozzles ( 5*-15* 30* 40* kit ) and siding washer adapter.

If it is the thread type as shown in the URL above, that is the disconnect. I don't think you can add a quick disconnect to these, but you can experiment with the HD set if you wanted to try to add it. Don't know how well that would work.

Myself, I just got a chance to try Poorboys Super Slick & Wax Car Shampoo in mine ( order to weather timing ), and it worked great. I had not adjusted my gun settings from using Gold Class soap ( which did not seem to work as well ) and it was night and day difference.
I filled the container ~ 75% full of hot water, added 4 Oz of SS&W and topped it off. I mixed it by swirling it around ( not shaking it ). Did the same thing with Gold class, and did not have as good of results.
Did the entire car with half a bottle left over, and I was not being overly efficient about washing it.

thanks everyone. Might seem like a stupid question but, doesn't this picture

show the female quick disconnect end of an air hose?

thats not an air hose, thats the end of the pressure washer wand. there call quick disconnects. i can switch washer nozzles also with it.

He is talking about the thing that u screw into the foam cannon is a air hose quick disconnect thing...

but dude how did u get the circle shaped thing off?
That originally attached to the foam cannon?

Where did u buy it from?
Also how you get the circle long tube off the foam cannon?
The thing where u attach the "air fitting"

Maybe a better question is this:

Can someone post a picture of their foam cannon attached to the pressure wand? (a picture of the full wand)

thanks in advance

show the female quick disconnect end of an air hose?

the picture above does short of look like a airline quick disconnect, but it is a pressure washer adapter.

notice the picture just below it in the post above ?

the ones I posted about from Home Depot have the same basic shape, but are wider ( think it is 3/8" opening ) .

The URL above shows the foam cannon attached to a handle.

You are removing the lance from the end of the gun, right ?
- URL I posted above on selecting the correct one, shows removing the lance.

What is the manufacture of the one you have ?
- This might help in ID'ing what you are asking.
