Foam Cannon with 3600psi PW

I am fixing to place my order on the foam cannon, what do you guys normally do if your PW runs higher than the permissible 2600psi?
I know i can turn down the throttle and get less pressure, but i will have no idea what pressure i am running.
I dont really want the cannon to go BOOM! lol

I use mine with a Karcher 16hp gas washer that puts out 4400 psi. I have used it all the way up without any problem.
I also made a pressure gauge that fits on the end just before the foamer to measure the actual pressure. And it's not 4400. I get about 3825 and that may be due to the fact that I am pushing water through a 100 foot hose.
I get much thicker, longer lasting foam with the pressure all the way up. With my 2000 psi electric washer the foam is kind of watery and weak.
