Hi to all,

I'm new to this forum which I see has alot of usefull information. My question is I Have a PC-7424 D/A polisher and a Hitachi rotary polisher. Is it best to stay with the 6 1/2 inch foam pads with both or use a larger pad with the rotary?I know the smaller pads make the machines work less harder. Thanks Joe:buffing:

Hmm, When I got my G110v2, it was recommended that I get the soft buff 7's. I was told the larger pad reduces chatter?

Thats what I have been using and like them. But, my experience is limited. So would my results be better if I go smaller? How does this improve the performance?

So why do so many car kits offered here include only the 6.5" CCS pads? I was told "they are safer...less likely to cause any damage". So is this a case of the seller protecting their own butts? Why not give the people what they want? I don't get it. Why don't all the kits allow you a choice...and not be forced to buy the 5.5" pads seperately....Ohhh....sorry, now I get it...$$$$$$...!!!!...duhhhh.

Well I like my 7" ... :D Maybe if you're a pro 5.5" works just fine.

Serious though... what are the benefits to a larger pad? There needs to be something or they wouldn't spend the money on developing them. But, I do think I will try some smaller ones to compare.
