foglight restore

I tried to restore the clarity in my foglights and now there fogged up and look worst than before i wet sanded my foglight and now there just fogged up
I wanted to make my fogs look new so i tried wet-sanding it and now there not getting clearer the lens feels rough as oppose to a smooth feeling like glass any help on how to fix this oh i don;t have a buffing pad so am doing this by hand let me know thanks for the help

I think your only option is to use a compound and a cutting pad to smooth out the sandpaper marks. You can only get so far with sandpaper.

What size grit sanding paper are you finishing with?
What are you using for a compound and an applicator to apply the compound?
