Is there some way to get link into a signature? Posting here because I don't see a help section for the forum.

.

Yes.

You need to know how to use the Editor View in a browser and then use BB Code to create the link.

I know everyone slams IE but I use it because it enables me to take full advantage of all the options available in VB that other browsers don't - like the Editor View.

How to use the Editor View in vBulletin

When logged into the forum click on SETTINGS - it's a text link on the far right hand side of any forum page

Then look on the left hand side for a column of links and look for a text link that reads,

Edit Signature

>click< on it.

Here's what my Sig line looks like via WYSIWYG

Try to find this kind of info with screen shots anywhere...

Wonder if any of the guys you see on Velocity Channel can post this kind of stuff on the fly...

:)

Got it, and thanks. I was trying to just use a PHP tag. A little embarrassed that I didn't think to find a sig with links and then look at the HTML. I'll just pretend that didn't happen.

Yes, but I was a software engineer for 20 years and work for a large tech company. Let's hope my peers don't see this. :)
