For this review I’ll share what it's like to clean a set of tires with Four Star Ultimate Tire Cleaner Gel:

From AG's copy for Ultimate Tire Cleaner Gel:
Upon initial inspection, the front drivers side doesn’t look too bad:

That’s the nice thing about tires; they hide the dirt
Ok directions time:

Immediately I notice the tire gel starting to pull off dried up crud from the tire. And exactly as claimed the gel is clinging to the tire and not running off.

In total it took 4 rounds of applying UTCG, scrubbing, and rinsing until white suds appeared signifying a 100% naked tire:

And now the results:

All dressed up with BriteMax’s excellent Rubber Max:

Additional Observations
Although the front drivers side tire took 4 rounds of scrubbing the remaining 3 tires only took 2 round of scrubbing to produce white foam. A difference that surprised me since you’d think all 4 tires would be equally dirty.
I also couldn’t get used to the smell of UTCG while scrubbing: it has the distinctive cherry odor of... pink urinal cakes/ porta johns. I’m not kidding. To be sure, I had my wife smell the bottle and she agreed. Gross.
Conclusion
Four Star Ultimate Tire Cleaner Gel is a good product. It cleaned well, the gel consistency stayed where I sprayed it, and was straightforward to use.
At $17.99 per 18 oz UTCG is on par with most tire specific cleaner on the market with the exception of Tuff Shine Tire Cleaner.
If you’re looking to try out a new tire cleaner I say don’t hesitate to check this one out.
As always, thanks for reading!

3. Agitate with a medium bristle tire brush. - Check
Using one of my medium tire brushes I set to work scrubbing the tire until no more brown suds appear.

In total it took 4 rounds of applying UTCG, scrubbing, and rinsing until white suds appeared signifying a 100% naked tire:

4. Rinse using a heavy jet of water. - Check. I love using a pressure washer

5. When cleaning fender wells, spray the entire area and agitate with a soft brush. Rinse well. -Check
I also used UTCG on the fender wells w/ a long handle brush and it did an excellent job cleaning those those areas.
