Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection
Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection, Four Star UPP, paint sealant
Okay, so i didn't really get to EXTENSIVELY test its durability cause i couldn't wait any longer to remove the caked on dust the last time i applied a coat of it (Yeah i should've covered it while it was curing) around 6 weeks ago. It's kind of dusty in the garage lately, because of a building construction beside the parking lot.
Just this weekend, i just wanted a smooth and slick feel to my paint again (besides being bored), so i grabbed some dishwashing liquid to remove the UPP and DPMW. I used probably 4ounces with a gallon of water. To my amazement, the UPP was still holding up even after the wash, which means it was resisting a grease-remover (imagine the concentration of dishwashing liquid i used).
After a 2step on my hood, and 205 on the rest of the panels. I gave it an IPA wipedown, then a coat of UPP. An hour after, wife wanted to have dinner to celebrate mother's day, so i was forced to drive it with a fresh coat. Gave it another wipe with the plush side of an MF when i got home. The next morning, approximately 14hours after applying, some dust has settled again, but this time, still very slick to the touch and the dust just glided off as i was wiping. No caking. This lead me to believe, that UPP is at its best when applied to a clean surface (no polishing oils or glazes).
Pros:
Leaves a slick and smooth finish
Very very glossy (mirror-like)
Awesome protection (resists even a degreaser)
Continuously beaded and sheeted water over the 6-week period (maintained with QD after each weekly wash)
Cons:
Consistency is too thin for my taste
Dust cakes up on the layer if applied incorrectly
Realizations:
It is best to apply with a foam applicator (over a finishing pad on a machine)
Chemically reacts/bonds better with a clean finish (After an wax cleaner or an IPA); if you apply it without removing the oil left by the polish, and add dust to the equation - you'll be disappointed.

I have been extremely satisfied with this wax!!! Has a sweet scent! This thing is very easy to apply and remove. Last time i tried it, i did WOWO method, it still did its thing. But yesterday, after checking on the UPP, i applied a coat of DPMW then moved it under the sun. I just wanted to test how it would react to 42 degrees celsius under the manila sun. An hour after, i took it to a shade and started removing the haze. Guess what...DPMW was as easy to remove hazed under the sun as the WOWO method! I immediately saw a large difference in the look: from mirror-like gloss of UPP to a watery wet-look shine!!!
Since i still had some left over wax on the applicator, and i was thinking of where i should apply it, the chrome wheels came to my attention. Just out of curiosity, i wanted to see how it would look like. I tried other waxes before, the 3m perfect it, zymol, Tw, etc on chrome, although it protected it, it kind of lessened the shine. I also let it scorch under the sun. When i removed it, bam, chrome wheels were very shiny!!! I just love this wax!!!
Pros:
Kicks the shine up a couple of notches!!! It's just hard to describe
Very versatile, works wonders even on chrome
Smells nice
Easy to apply and remove
Cons:
Price went up, which is not exactly cheap anymore (hahaha AG..peace)
DPQD that comes with it isn't really amazing as MW (but is cheap, it's just $5 if you get the combo)
NOTE: Sorry no pics - i still don't have a camera!
