free detail for refreneces?

would u guys do a free detail(1 step) for free if they get u some references?
i got a buddie at a performance shop i frequently visit and i offered him a free paint correction for referenaces from the sop to me....who anyone do it?... just today he got me 2 references....no appointments yet but hopeing.

without a doubt. dont think of it as a free detail. gotta spend money to make money right? so think of it like he/she paid you for the detail then you paid him/her to advertise for you.

I can't tell you how many free details I have done for this very reason. I have gotten maybe 2 or 3 additional jobs out of it but it is getting my name out there.

A friend of mine in marketing was going to a charity auction where there were supposed to be some big wigs in the business and political world in attendance. She asked me if I would be willing to auction off a full paint correction detail to charity. Sure why not was my answer. It can't hurt.
