I think I applied too much pressure when getting wax on my applicator as the wax cracked and broke into small pieces.

Is there an easy way to melt the wax to get it back to one block?

And if I do this, will it harm the properties of the wax?

I read you use a hair dryer....but never done this.

If you do a search, you will some additional information in here to solve your problem.

I tried that when I first got it, and it only barely melted the top. What about if it is cracked deeper? And in 1/4 inch chunks?

how about boiling some water, and then letting the container sit in middle ??? (mind you in advance I am no scientist and take no responsibility in the proper way to melt wax)

The wax is shot! Just give it to me, I'll get rid of it for you:D

I was thinking about putting it in a pot of boiling water, just don't want to change the properties of the wax.

The only reason I want to melt it back together is so the smaller pieces don't get knocked out onto the ground and wasted when I am waxing.

where would I get one of those? Or could I also use two pots. One in another with water in both?

And would it change the properties of the wax to melt it and let it reset?

Use a rack and no it should not harm the wax.

If there is no metal in there .How about using the Microwave ??

how about putting the wax in a old bowl and then heating in microwave then pouring back in the container to cool ?

double boiling worked well.

Took about 30 minutes but it got it completely melted. Thanks for all the advice.

i used a heat gun to melt about 1/2" in a minute or so before it got splattery... i just decided to leave it alone...
