Garage lighting?

I have an ongoing search to find a lighting system that will mount to the inside of my garage door, so when the door is up I can have the most lighting possible. Anyone ever try this?? Any input would be well taken.

If you want light for buffing/polishing evaluation, I find the incandescent type the best. Fluorescent just isn't as good for that purpose, IMHO.

I finally came up with an idea that will hopefully work. I have been searching for ways to add light to my garage when the garage door is up. I recently had to have another garage built due to a tree falling on the old one and was able to add some bonus features due to an inflated insurance estimate. Anyway, I now have an insulated STEEL door! I plan on getting some sturdy magnets and using them to temporarily mount shop lights to the underside of my garage door when it is open.
