thats pretty good advice, not totally off lolIf I were you I would try and find a dealership, mechanic shop, etc. that has an empty bay they will rent you for the winter(assumption here).
Unless you are opening up a storefront or fixed location shop, the most economical thing is to just stay mobile/home based.
Don't really have that much information here so my advice might be totally off.![]()
for detailing/storageWhat are you looking to rent the space for? Storage?, detailing?
a simple place like that would be perfect its so hard finding something around here lol
thats very trueLet the garage space find you. I have been offered a few interesting spots but have not jumped on anything yet. When the offers are finding you the rent/setup is in your favor.
ive tried, ive found nothing close or a good location lolCraigslist is a great place, under the housing section labeled "parking &storage". I've seen countless garages, warehouse space, etc with utilities been up for rent in my neck of the woods.
yeah thats what im trying to do but maybe for now ill just stick at home, i just feel like having an actual place/garage will bring more business and theres so much more you can do imoI recently just rented out a stall at a auto body shop. Where i live we have pretty strict water run off laws. The body shop already has the right plumbing and filters in its wash bay to be legal. Rent is pretty cheap. One complete detail pays for it or i trade work with owner. Although i am still mobile, im going to start working towards being in a fixed location. Its nice not having to unpack and pack back up at every job or my neighbors giving me crap about noise, to many cars at my house, ect ect.
