I am hoping someone may be familiar with vacuum specifications. I am looking to purchase a wall mounted vacuum for my garage and I have a few on my radar at the moment.
One of the vacuums I am researching is the Hoover GUV garage vacuum. They do not list the suction of the vacuum in inches of water lift like the Metro's so I e-mailed their customer service.
Below is the response I received:
Hello,
Thank you for your recent email.
We believe you are looking at the sealed suction on the end of the hose when you mention MetroVacs rating of 95” of water lift. The GUV generates appx. 100 inches of sealed suction at the end of the 30’ hose (using a calibrated manometer).”
Sincerely,

Does anyone know if "sealed suction" is the same as inches of water lift?
Does anyone have this vacuum that can provide some feedback?
