Here is an Audi S8 I had the pleasure to detail. This client was a referral from a very high end mechanic shop I do some work for here in Tampa.

I was able to save the owner $3500. He was going to have the car painted, but now he has decided against it.

Thanks for watching!

As usual, outstanding work. That was a major turn around on the hood. I am surprised to see that kind of oxidation occur on a clear coated hood. For the wheel barrels that could use a little more work, have you tried some wheel brightener at 4:1 with a bendable spoke brush?

I didnt have any wheel brightener with me and I would not have used it either way.

You couldnt really tell it in the video, but the finish on those wheels was really deteriorated. I didnt want to trash the wheels any worse than they already were.

I used some Four Star Products Multi Purpose Cleaner on them with a brush that I personally designed and will be marketing very soon.

Great job Garry, looks really good. Sure the owner is glad you saved the hood, and the money for the re-paint.

Nice work gary. How did you apply the d151? What pad? Did you use it like a polish then let It haze then wipe off? You seem to get great results with it.

To add Garry.... this is a great example of doing what the customer wanted and you delivered and satisfied him! Sure you could have compounded the whole car, did a better job on the wheels or have done some things differently! But you did what the customer wanted and taylored your services to his/her requirements. So :props: for that!!

I used my Griots Garage d/a with LC 5.5 orange CCS pads. I polish until the product is gone.

Thats exactly right. Thanks for noticing!

I am realistic in my details. I keep reality, budget, and expectations in mind when I quote a job.

I am custom detailing!

Sure I could have spent more time on more areas, but the whole car wouldnt have turned out as well and within his budget,

Nice turnaround there,,what machine and pad choice was used and amount of time invested?:

See Mobile detail's response.

I had about 5 hours in this detail.

Like you said Garry, it definitely looks good!!! That's a major transformation in the hood of the car!!! GREAT JOB!

So what did the owner say when he picked it up?

How do you do it so quick?!
