Hello, which of the products in my picture would you use to get the best results for cleaning and protection on my boat? This is a new boat with no oxidation problems.

Collinite 840 cleaner followed by the 476s wax or the DuraGloss 501?

Thank you

Good question.

I've used the Duragloss 501, but not the Collinite 840 cleaner which if I recall is cheaper, but both Collinite and Duragloss are top notch companies. The #476 should last much longer than the sealant in the #501, but you need to consider how often you may wish to clean the surface each year. No sense in applying #476 if you want to clean AND protect often.

I'd have to consider cost of each cleaner and also ease of use if I was in your shoes, which I am not.

I do find it interesting the comments on the upper right of that #840 bottle, "not for dark clear coats"...that's interesting.

Collinite. DG's 501 is less than 6 months and probably should be re-done around 3. Collinite 885 is also a good contender.

Regardless of the time needed to re apply the protection....Which of the products provide better protection?

The DG501 or the collinite tandem?

I am a real DG fan but I have to vote for the 476S on this one. I personally have 885 on my 32' fifth wheel.
